Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and personable Sales Support Specialist to assist our sales team and provide outstanding service to our clients. This role involves engaging with both new and current customers, handling walk-in inquiries, assisting with pick-up customers, and supporting various sales-related activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of plants, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a point of contact for walk-in and pick-up customers, ensuring their needs are met and questions answered.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers to promote loyalty and drive sales.
• Provide knowledgeable advice on plant care and selection, with a focus on interior foliage.
• Assist the sales team in daily operations, including order management, data entry, and follow-up communications.
• Participate in regional travel on a monthly basis, with expenses covered, and attend industry conferences to represent the company and stay updated on market trends.
• Collaborate with team members to improve customer experiences and achieve sales goals.

Qualifications:

• Solid knowledge of plants, with a preference for expertise in interior foliage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM tools).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A customer-focused attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
